ReSound TV Streamer 2 compatible with Cochlear sound processors

If anyone is using a Cochlear TV streamer, you may also have luck with other brands.
I have a Cochlear Nucleus 7 and received a TV streamer with my implant. I checked the back of it and it reads “Cochlear, model SAS-3”
On Ebay I noticed a very similar model made by GN Hearing. It also listed its model as SAS-3. My guess is that it may be for hearing aids? Anyway, I bought 2 of them and now use them for my other TV’s. Both pair and work identical to the cochlear brand. And the best part is that they were only $39 each.
Hope this helps someone else…

Yes Cochlear and Resound work together. If one person only has 1 x N7, then they can get a Resound HA in their other ear to get phone calls and audio to both ears.

@DWol999 All Cochlear accessories are originally the GN Resound accessories just rebranded by Cochlear. Then Cochlear up the price by a large margin. These accessories are cheaper again through Costco stores. I’ve not looked for Cochlear accessories on EBay though.
