I agree the codec is terrible, they are using G.722 - Wikipedia which is 34 years old now

I have contacted both ReSound and Google about these issues. Google replied that they were aware that they had Bluetooth connection issues and they were fixing them. I think they have lots of issues, they fixed them, and these hearing aid issues remain. ReSound in Europe responded right away and said that since I am in the USA, the U.S. team will provide support. US support never responded.

Wishful thinking you aren’t talking to the engineering team behind this. Google/Resound will not fix these issue because the new LE Audio protocol is already out. there is no reason to fix the old ASHA protocol and it has been deprecated / abandoned already. It has been on life support for a long time now…

I was afraid this was the truth, unfortunate really, for those that are/were having these issues and then were “dumped” google took to long to come on board with ASHA anyway, almost like an afterthought!
