Resound One 9 with M&Rie

On the first default program, “All-Around” the volume has dropped dramatically (almost mute ).

No other programs affected.

As a beginner DIY, I changed the default directionality to M&Rie and increased the gain, and updated to latest firmware. All with no effect.

I am beginning to suspect a hardware problem.

Anyone else ever experienced this? Any thoughts?

So how did this happen,as in did it just randomly started doing it, or something else?

So you did these adjustments “after” this sudden drop in volume in the “All around” program?

Depends, so this is happening in both HAs, and only in this one program, I don’t think it’s hardware at all.

So these adjustments you made are with SmartFit using Noahlink wireless, can you post a screenshot of the “All around program” so we can see what the gain curves are set at.

Felt like it just appeared one morning, before I tried any adjustments myself. In fact that’s what got me interested in DIY. So I got the Noah and software after this started.

Nothing happened of note before it started.

I will post screen shots a little later today.

I suggest going straight back to your audiologist and get it checked out.

I also think you are really marginal for M&RIE - your loss slopes too quickly. But I suppose your audiologist knows what he/she is doing.

I have appointment, but, with the holidays, it won’t be for another week and a half.
