Resound Multi Mic or Roger on V2

I hope this message finds you well.

I am reaching out because I have experienced issues with the Oction Xceed HA. Unfortunately, the Wales NHS does not routinely provide the Oction HA. However, they will soon be offering a new hearing aid, the Danalogic HA Ambio, in a couple of weeks.

I am considering purchasing an FM microphone, specifically either the ReSound Multi Mic+ or the Phonak Roger On v2. However, I am unsure if the ReSound Multi Mic+ is compatible with the Danalogic Ambio.

From my research, it appears that the ReSound Multi Mic+ (as the primary device) can be used simultaneously with the Roger On. I noticed that it might have receivers designated with “03” at the end of the Multi Mic+. Could you please clarify how this setup might help? Does it provide an extra boost in sound quality, or is there another benefit?

Additionally, I would appreciate your experience with using two devices. Which option do you recommend for everyday use? I am looking for a solution that effectively reduces background noise, enhances speech clarity, and is easy to connect via Bluetooth.

Thank you for your assistance. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Best regards,

Sara

I’m pretty sure the Resound Multi Mic+ will be compatible with the Danalogic (similar to Resound) hearing aids you’re getting. My suggestion would be to start with the MultiMic+ and see if it’s adequate. Roger Onv2 is markedly more expensive and would need the MultiMic+ and a receiver to work. The Roger device is more sophisticated but the MultiMic+ is still a very good device. If you really wanted a Roger device going with a Phonak or Unitron hearing aid would be more convenient.

I searched on danalogic accessories, and the multi-mic showed up. It’s not FM; it’s BT. I like it, but if I could get a Roger ON for the same cost, I think I’d go with the Roger, because the Roger can be used on any HA that allows connecting an FM receiver, as I understand it.
