Resound Multi Mic or Roger on V2

I hope this message finds you well.

I am reaching out because I have experienced issues with the Oction Xceed HA. Unfortunately, the Wales NHS does not routinely provide the Oction HA. However, they will soon be offering a new hearing aid, the Danalogic HA Ambio, in a couple of weeks.

I am considering purchasing an FM microphone, specifically either the ReSound Multi Mic+ or the Phonak Roger On v2. However, I am unsure if the ReSound Multi Mic+ is compatible with the Danalogic Ambio.

From my research, it appears that the ReSound Multi Mic+ (as the primary device) can be used simultaneously with the Roger On. I noticed that it might have receivers designated with “03” at the end of the Multi Mic+. Could you please clarify how this setup might help? Does it provide an extra boost in sound quality, or is there another benefit?

Additionally, I would appreciate your experience with using two devices. Which option do you recommend for everyday use? I am looking for a solution that effectively reduces background noise, enhances speech clarity, and is easy to connect via Bluetooth.

Thank you for your assistance. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Best regards,

Sara

I’m pretty sure the Resound Multi Mic+ will be compatible with the Danalogic (similar to Resound) hearing aids you’re getting. My suggestion would be to start with the MultiMic+ and see if it’s adequate. Roger Onv2 is markedly more expensive and would need the MultiMic+ and a receiver to work. The Roger device is more sophisticated but the MultiMic+ is still a very good device. If you really wanted a Roger device going with a Phonak or Unitron hearing aid would be more convenient.

I searched on danalogic accessories, and the multi-mic showed up. It’s not FM; it’s BT. I like it, but if I could get a Roger ON for the same cost, I think I’d go with the Roger, because the Roger can be used on any HA that allows connecting an FM receiver, as I understand it.

Hi!

I was hoping you may be able to assist.

Ive now got Danalogic Ambio6 98.

I also bought a multi mic as well.

Today, I trialled out with Multi Mic along with roger pens via Reciever 03. I found that the output of sounds/speech is very muddled and not very clear.

Is there any reasons why they arent clear? Any suggestions welcomed.

I work in a shared office and it can be noisy.

Certainly no expert. Going to need some basic troubleshooting. How is the sound with the MultiMic by itself when spoken into directly? If good, try one of the Roger Pens spoken into directly. Need to figure out where the issue is coming from. In the past I know there were people with this combo but not sure if anybody is on the forum currently using this combo.

Its my 2nd day of using Multi Mic I found it extremely well when a person wearing it. Their voices were very clear and I understood it.

On a table mode is a different story. I can’t hear it very well or clear either. I had the same issue with Roger Pens as well. May be it was surrounded by a lot of electronics? I’m not sure to be honest.

Any suggestions? Someone suggested over ear headphone?!?

Were the Roger Pens on the table or held next to the person’s mouth? If you want to use something in table mode you’d want either a Roger Select or Roger On. The closer you can get the microphone to the speaker the less noise will be included (the clearer the speech)

I need to boost bass and reduce treble (through the ReSound app) to get the most from the Multi-mic in horizontal mode.

Hi all!

Seems a long time since I last spoke.

Ive got multi mic and its sounds great when a person is wearing it. However, it does not work on a table mode.

In the meantime, Ive been given a Roger on with a trial of 10 days. It works great on a table mode only when a person mouth is closer.

Understandably, there is a easy gain on Roger on but it does not work for Danalogic HA, as it only compatible to Phonak HA only, directly.

I am trying to think what other device that could help to extend the range, supporting Roger on, so I could hear better when a person is further away from their desk.

Any idea!

EasyGain is adjusted with the On and Roger X receiver, nothing to do with the hearing aids. As long as you have a receiver, the EasyGain can be adjusted.

I believe now both 02 receivers and 03 receiver have EasyGain. It used to be just 02 receivers that had it.

Sorry, so sorry - I meant Extend Range.

I can confirm that the easy gain is working.

Sorry about that I had a long week and I am having a bad time with my hearing loss. Dont think Im happy with Danalogic HA.

If you buy this Phonak Roger Repeater - FM Hearing Systems

And a Roger Touchscreen, you can get an extended range.
