I encounter situations where I’m in midst of a phone call and want to hand over the call to another person to my end. Also sometimes I want to share a song on my phone with another person. So I want the audio to not go through my aid. I want to be able to switch back and forth quickly if possible. If not, I at least want to hand over the call or music.
There’s probably a simple way to do this that I haven’t discovered and would be very helpful to me.
With my old iPhone I just tap the speaker icon and the audio goes from my aids to the phone.
I have a Pixel 6a.
On the call screen I can choose where I want the call.

As the getting the music from my iPhone to speaker, I’m still working on that but that need is less frequent.
