Research Opportunity for UK Adults

Sign up to take part in an online discussion group as part of research to improve how health is described and measured for people who are deaf or have hearing loss: Participate – Bolt-ons research

I am part of a team of researchers at the Office of Health Economics who are developing and testing new questions to include in a questionnaire (called the EQ-5D) that informs health care investment decisions. The research will help to capture meaningful information about the health of deaf people and people with hearing loss.

I are looking to recruit individuals aged 18 years and over in the UK. Most
importantly, we need to recruit people with a broad range of types, severity, and causes of hearing
difficulties. We will invite people to participate in a discussion group to discuss their experiences and
perspectives. Discussion groups will use text-based online discussion boards or a weekday afternoon
Zoom session for BSL users.
