I have a problem with a pair of com dex and would like to replace the internal microphone. No matter how much I clean it, they hear me very quietly. Do you know where I can get just the internal microphone of a com dex?
Hi, looking for more details here. When you talk about “a pair of com dex” are you referring to the Comdex receiver and its separate Comdex Remote microphone?
I am referring to the internal microphone of the Com Dex. He sweated and now he sounds very, very bad. I wanted to replace them, which is to open the com dex and solder the new one.
I wouldn’t recommend that, a battery replacement as a DIY project but a microphone? Where would you get a replacement from, is it not possible to send to Widex for repair or just get another one from eBay?
