Replacement for lost charger for hearing aids bought at Costco

does Costco sell replacements for lost hearing aid chargers?

Welcome to the forum, 730.

Good question. On aids that come from a private audiologist, the audi would be able to order a replacement, as long as they still dealt with that manufacturer and the chargers were still available from the manufacturer. (After about four years, you’d have diminishing chances that a charger was still carried. If it was still in inventory, or a newer model could do it, they’d provide it at a probably-high price, but if not, no go.)

But Costco can be a little more limiting on special orders, because their whole angle is VOLUME, not of sound, but of sales. If they can’t sell a lot of something, they’re not going to special order one. There may be an exception for something like hearing aids. On the other hand, unless these are very recent aids, since Costco has ended its relationship with several hearing aid companies they used to deal with, they may have limited access to previous brands’ replacement parts.

The only way to know is to ask a Costco Hearing Aid Specialist.

But I’ll tell you where I’d look first, anyway, because it’s likely to be available and possibly much cheaper: eBay! I get my accessories like this on eBay whenever I can, and though I may have to be a little patient to find what I need at a good price, it usually works out well. One thing to be careful about is that a replacement charger from eBay is compatible with your hearing aid model (not just brand of hearing aid). And be sure to get one shipped from your home country (in particular, not shipped from China), so it comes in a reasonable time, and so you can easily return it if it doesn’t work.

If you bought your current hearing aids from Costco I would just go there and see if they have any. They might give you one for free. Never know unless you try.

Which brand and model hearing aids do you have?

I’m sure you can find another charging case for it
