I Will be picking up the Jabra’s from Costco this Saturday and have ordered a Noahlink and downloaded the ReSound smart fit software. Should I select Resound One 9 for the model since there is no Jabra. Also is there any other suggestions on anything I will need to do thats not obvious to connect them. I have never done it before. I did create a Patient in the program with my audiogram but I do not have the Noahlink yet, its on it way. I did buy the Noah link used. Thanks
When you hit the connect button, they’ll show up as Jabra.
Selecting Resound One 9 won’t allow your Jabra’s to connect.
Thanks for the info.
Any idea if the Jabra from Costco are locked?
No they are not locked, use the search button from right here on hearingtracker to help you find more information on the Jabra HAs.
Thanks, I think I have read every post I could find!
Interestingly, my software will always tell me that my models are not listed but that I can make changes anyway when I go to connect. It’s an extra click but it works fine
I have a Jabra DIY question. Costco does not support the Tinnitus Masking feature that is built into the Jabras. Can the DIY’er enable the feature from the Smart Fit software and can it be controlled in the Smart 3D app as advertised?
@Zebras and @Janofh. What version of Smart Fit software are you using? Looks like version 1.12 Update 1 (released on Oct 25, 2021) is the latest.
I think I’m still on 1.12 - I don’t remember if I upgraded but I’m not sure there is much difference.
Yes, you can add the tinnitus feature. It didn’t do much for me though ymmv
I haven’t connected to my software yet. I’m going to give them 2 weeks before I change anything. I will let you know then, Not banking on it though. If you have an iphone you can triple click the power button and have access to 6 different tinnitus masking sounds with the Costco Jabra’s built in. Resound also has a nice app that you can use via streaming through bluetooth.
Interestingly the ios app by beltone seems to have more free features than the resound app and it is exactly the same (both are part of gn hearing).
