So I’m a HOH teen(17) who is hopefully going to an audiologist sometime this year for moderate deaf gain. I’ve been looking at hearing aid options and looking at this forum etc etc, but what I can’t figure out is if I would receive pediatric HAs or adult ones if I end up getting some? I’ve seen only confusing results, and nothing about older teens like me lol. If anyone know please let me know!

At your age get adult aids you will be adult before you replace them

Get adult aids, and when they’re being fitted, your audiologist may consider programming them with a paediatric DSL prescriptive method.
