Qleaf Pro new Hearing Aid from ExSilent

hello girls & boys,
just found another new hearing aid - at least for me.
Its name is QLEAF PRO by EX SILENT.
Ok, the brand is not exactly one on top, but on the other hand could be the “Research Laboratory” of some of the Top Producers…
Seemed to me, on first view, it is the AMP rebranded, but at the end it’s not so, even if the “concept” behind HA is the same.
QLeaf’s body is slightly curved to better follow canal (AMP is not) and main difference there’s between QLeaf and AMP is that when AMP has a ReferenceTestGain of 19db, QLeaf has 28db!
Its power (and maybe size) wouldn’t fit exactly everybody, ok, btw I’m glad the bar is raising on daily basis also for what concerns esthetic:D:D:D
Anyone could share some more info/opinion than the ones reported in below links?

Of link one, please look at QLEAF PRO, and not at QLEAF or Q, thanks

Interesting. I wonder what the cost is in US$ and wonder why their US distributor is based out of Eden Prairie, MN… Another Starkey Group company?

ExSilent a part of Starkey Group? Maybe. HA named “Q” looks very similar to Starkey AMP. Maybe ExSilent is test-laboratory for Starkey like Unitron is for Phonak. Btw, what interests me is that these kind of IIC are becoming always more popular. Maybe in near future we’ll have miniBTE for profound hearing loss and IIC covering up to severe hearing loss. Recently many miniBTE have been announced to be able to cover up to 110db of loss. We have just to wait for IIC to become powerful, now

As posted elsewhere, the Exsilent product has been available in Europe for a few years. If their technology has been bought-in by another manufacturer/distribution outfit in the US it isn’t exactly surprising.

any fellow using Qleaf pro??

ExSilent is an independent company with own R&D team. Qleaf Pro is the newest instant fit digital HA. Max FOG is 54 dB ( IEC 60118 standards) with 4 environment settings whcih can be adjusted by audiologists.

Hello everyone,

My name is Jeff with ExSilent USA, in Eden Prairie, MN. We are not owned nor affiliated with Starkey if that helps clear anything up. Our group of 11 here is an extension of the Amsterdam home office. We have Q, Q Leaf, and two new product additions Q Leaf Pro, and Y Tango. Our hearing aids have been in Europe for 5 years and only one and half years in the US.

Feel free to ask any questions and I will try to answer them the best I can.

Kind regards,

Jeff

Qleaf pro and Qleaf are more discreet than normal CIC ?? Is there any warranty ?? How much is approx cost of both ??

Hello ExSilent,
could You please tell us which are the advantage that Y-Tango and its “MaRIC” system offers in comparison of other HAs?
I would like to think that advantages are improved directionality due to microphone in ear plus broader fitting range and/or bluetooth capabilities, btw waiting for some more official informations from Your side.
If You would like also to attach materials and/or provide links for further explanation, fitting range and frequency range included, You will surely do something appreciated by many here
Many thanks!

Ytango provides natural directionality due to Microphone and Receiver in Canal. Ytango is modular, so no need for ear impressions. Instead, Ytango is inserted in the ear with a soft dome.

The fitting range is for a mild to moderately-severe hearing loss

Ytango offers:
· Three sizes soft domes
· Three sizes for the connector / wire
· Three available colors (black, titanium and champagne)
· Soft dome available in open and closed fit
· Three options:
o Ytango – with one program
o Ytango Pro - with AirTAP functionality, and 4 programs. AirTAP = switch to next program by gentle tapping your ear (switches to next program because of the air pressure difference)
o Ytango Pro-T - with Telecoil and AirTAP functionality

I hope this helps.

When will the Ytango be released and do you have any dealers in the San Jose, CA area?

It is an excellent product in terms of esthetics. I have seen Q and Q leaf in EUHA last year but Ytango wasn’t lunched yet. Do you have any dealers in Greece??

Also tell us the estimated price for Q, Qleaf, Qleaf Pro and Ytango.

Hi!

I am currently using the QLeafPro.

here is my review about it. Hearing Joy: Exsilent QLeaf Pro Hearing Aids Review

hope this helps.:stuck_out_tongue:

I have exsilent Q leaf pro, I absolutely LOVE IT! It is CIC without complicated earmolding technology, silicone plugs hold the microphone and reciever in the canal device and you can change the monthly silicone ear plug like you would disposable contact lenses. You are going to have to demand this from your audiologist… and good luck with that!

I am having trouble tracking down a supplier in the LA area, anyone know of one?
