So I’ve been wearing my new Starkey Edge AI for about a week now I notice that they keep coming loose. I have these little anchors that keep popping out and it’s frustrating. I’m going for a follow up appointment next week but wanted to see about any tips or advice before I go.
It’s basically trial and error. Different sized domes might help. Smaller might make them be able to seat deeper and stay put. Bigger might make a snugger fit and accomplish the same. If neither of those work then a custom molds might be in order. In custom molds there are various things that can be done to make them more secure. For starters there’s just the in ear mold, then one can add a concha lock and if that doesn’t cut it there’s skeleton molds which I think are pretty fool proof. Note: Each “addition” I mentioned requires a separate remake of the molds (and likely additional cost)
