I have downloaded Profit for my Starkey hearing aids, and it’s saying, “Profit requires an Office system and will now exit” is this asking for Microsoft office? Or is there a bypass for this?
You need additional Starkey Patientbase installed, if you run ProFit or Inspire X as stand alone on PC.
BTW: what Starkey hearing aid model does you have ?
The new ProFit software is only for programming the newest Starkey Genesis AI 2023 models. The ProFit fitting software only support the new Genesis AI 2023 models and future Starkey models.
For older Starkey models you need to install Starkey Inspire X fitting software.
e.g. Evolve AI 2021, Livio / LivioAI 2018, Halo IQ 2017 , Muse IQ 2017, Muse 2016, Halo 2 2016, X-Series 2015, Halo 2014, 3-Series 2013, Xino 2011, S-Series, Ignite , E-Series 2010 , Aries, Destiny etc…)
I downloaded the patient base and it runs. But I have the Livio AI, so looks like I’ve been downloading the wrong one anyhow

Welcome to the forum, great your giving DIY a go it’s all pretty easy enough, but do read the user guides as it’s very helpful for setting up the first time, don’t forget you’ll need patient base and the Noahlink wireless programming device for any DIY projects.
