I’ve had a GN TV Streamer 2 for a couple of years working well with my NHS supplied Danalogic hearing aids. Just had an update test and new aids which are working well - but a different brand - Phonak. I’ve tried to pair with the TV Streamer but it’s no go.
Tried aids off/ press pairing button on streamer/ aids on - but nothing. Phoned GN but they just said it won’t work. I asked why not but it was a “it just won’t” reply.
Cannot find a phone mumber for Phonak, but I’m guessing they’ll have their own streamer to sell me! It would be great if it’s possible to get Streamer and Aids talking to each other
Any ideas here would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks
Those streamer doodads are proprietary to the manufacturers. The preferred Phonak one to get will have controls on the top.

You want the Phonak tv connector version two. It seems like the best price reliably available is eBay in the US. No idea if your country will have similar sellers with that on offer.

Every streamer I’ve encountered in 31 years has been proprietary to the manufacturer. I’m just moving from Oticon to Phillips and it’s a ripoff to have to buy two new streams. Corporate greed is what it is!
@mark.augustin Interesting. Have you tried the Oticon streamer with the Phillips? Both are Demant products so there is a chance that the Oticon streamer will still work?

Nope. I did a bunch of research and came across two that had actually tried that. Both verified they don’t work across brands.

Thanks folks for the info - looks like I have no choice but to look for a Phonak steamer
Needs someone to develop a cross brand product to bring a halt to this silly situation
