Pricing for Philips 9040 at Costco in the USA?

Please correct me if I’m wrong, but my understanding is that the Costco 40 series, which includes the 9040, 7040, and 5040 technology levels is available in the following form factors:

  • miniRITE T
  • miniRITE T R
  • miniBTE T
  • miniBTE T R

The Costco website shows a price of $1499 for the 9040s. But, I have some questions:

  • What’s the price of the 7040 and 5040?
  • Are all the form factors the same prices, or does this vary as well?

My understanding is that the power BTEs and customs are all from the 30 series (last gen). Let me know if I got that right, and thanks!

They don’t sell the 7040 and 5040. Prices vary a bit from state to state.

Ah that’s helpful. Must only sell those tech levels outside of the US.

Can’t speak to all variations - but for my new 9040’s, the choice was RIC or BTE for $1499. I went with the BTE this time, to minimize things that could introduce moisture, as my 9010 RIC (w disp. batteries) had many failures due to sweat. So far, no issues, even on the hottest days when I was doing lots of work in the sun.

I have the miniRITE T, 312 battery. The price for two was $1,499.98. I believe the rechargeable is the same price.

They have a 3 year warranty with loss and damage coverage for 24 months.
