I want to take advantage of the hearing test. I have installed the software, calibrated my speakers and run the test. I just cannot figure out how to import the test results to Target 7.2. I use Noahlink wireless. From what I have read, Target should be able to obtain this test via Noah and also make use of the data. Any help, ideas, etc would be greatly appreciated.
Further investigation reveals “Phoneme Perception Test” exports measurement data in *.CSV file format. Target 7.2 imports files in the *.TEXPORT format. Both types are used for text data. Neither program gives import or export file type options. Any help greatly appreciated.
But you don’t have NOAH installed do you? That’s a separate bit of software.
Can you change the format?
I’m pretty sure, you also need NOAH. I found the following in Phone Perception Test fitting guide:
NOAH is a pretty expensive software, with a yearly license fee.
Thank you sterei. You are correct. I feared that would be so. Anyone have an idea what the license cost for a single PC?
It wouldn’t be worth it, it’s only available to the clinic’s anyway, what are you hoping to get out of the test?
It could be that changing the extension is enough. However, this page suggests that there are some tags involved in textport-files.
If someone could post a relevant texport-file and a relevant (and preferably related) csv-file, I can create a converter script.

tenkan, My only hope for going thru this process is that I may be better able to improve my HAs. They work pretty good now. However, as with just about anything, there is always room for improvement.
Markismus, thanks for the offer to help. Tomorrow I will try to create .cvs file with the tester and also create a .TEXPORT file using Target and one of my fittings. I think I have already tried changing the file type and it didn’t work. I will try to do this tomorrow and post the results of these efforts.
Hi Markismus, I have the two files. Unfortunately, because of their file type I cannot upload them using the forum. Please let me know the most convenient way for me to send you these files.
Thanks for your help.
I posted a reply this afternoon, but it’s gone. Odd!
Anyways, just upload them to a file server, e.g.Dropbox or pCloud or WeTransfer and post the link here.
Hi Markismus, I am looking into a way to handle the licensing of Noah. If it does not work I’ll post that I failed and let you see what you can do with the script files at that time. Thank you so very much for your willingness to help…Also, if you would just like to look at the files, I’ll be happy to send them to you using Dropbox. Just let me know.
Would you send them up? I’ll have a look. Thanks!

Let me know if this works. Thanks for your help.
They are identical. Just open them with Notepad++ and you’ll see. Both filesizes are 1.803 bytes. You’re sure you didn’t send me the renamed csv-file by accident?
You are probably correct. I will check and upload the file from Target.
