Phonak TV Connector help

Thanks for looking at that. I appreciate that. I’ll check that out and let you know how I make out. Thanks again.

Bette

You can find the user manual here:

The audio output is the pair of red and white sockets in the area 7 of the rear panel page 9.

Ok. The optical plug on the far left is in use and it runs to the back of my tv. Do I plug my connector into the other optical outlet? This is all so technical. Wish I had a young kid in the neighborhood that could do this for me. Right now for me to get sound in the hearing aid. I turn off the receiver tand there we have it. For my husband to hear it he just turns up the sound on the TV. So basically we aren’t using the receiver. Ughhh.

I got an optical splitter and one side of it goes to the TV Connector; works great.

No the two optical plugs of the receiver are optical inputs.

You can either:

  • insert an optical splitter between the tv optical output and the optical input of the receiver and connect the second optical output of this splitter to the optical input of your audio streamer.
  • or connect the electrical audio output of the receiver to the electrical audio input of the streamer.

Thé second alternative should be the best since it allow you to listen not only to the tv but to any audio source available on the receiver (am/fm radio, internet audio, …)

Thank you for your help. I have to wait until after the World Series to mess with this in case I totally mess it up. I’ll let you know how it works out and if I have more questions after Tampa Bay Rays win.
Thank you
Bette

It always amazes me…World Series??? Dont you want to find out if the rest of the world might beat you??? Lol

I have thought this too. Not many countries play baseball but those that do, the best players have a chance to play here in the states professionally.

Back to the TV connector.
