Hi all,
I have the TV connector connected to the “B” channel of my Denon AVR. All is well as long as the signal coming from the amp is plain stereo. If the source is Dolby, or Multi channel stereo, etc., I don’t get any sound. I can’t figure out how to get plain stereo from all sources (Cable, Home theater, Blueray, etc.).
Anyone?

In the TV menu, go to Sound, Digital Audio Out, Audiogram Format.
That needs to be in PCM.

Phonak doesn’t like Dolby or DTS. As Raudrive said, PCM works.

I hooked up a 1/8” phone cable to Samsung “audio out” and it works great although the volume control is odd. Sound levels in HA are to loud and the minus button does nothing. The plus button does raise the volume but only then does the minus button bring the audio down. I manually have to go into the iPhone app and lower the volume each time.
