Phonak Target Software download links and other DIY resources?

I am new to self fitting my hearing aid. From what I read in this forum, I need the noah link wireless hardware and phonak target software for programming my phonak naida paradise hearing aid. I was unable to find any download links for phonak target software. Would someone help me out. Thanks.

Welcome to the forum, great your giving DIY a go, it’s all easy enough to do plus target is pretty easy to navigate.

Hi there, I am also new to the forum and HA DIY!. My elderly aunt was struggling with hearing the TV, so I bought a second hand Compilot II TV link to pair with her Phonak nathos hearing aids. Whilst they pair over Bluetooth and the pairing music plays etc, no audio will stream from her TV or phone.

After researching on-line, it looks like we’re not the only ones to experience the issue and a hard factory reset is required. Not knowing how to do this we took the device to the audiologist but they didn’t want to know as we had not purchased from them!

The next option therefore appears to be to do it yourself with the Target 9.0?? Software. Does anyone know where I can get this? And is it difficult to do? Any help would be much appreciated.

These are the instructions for the most current Phonak TV connector:

Reset the TV Connector:

  1. Press and hold the Connect button on the back for 7 seconds.
  2. The LED will flash Blue, then Red, and finally turn Orange when the reset is done.

Reconnect your hearing aids:

  1. Make sure your hearing aids are within 1 meter of the TV Connector.
  2. Press the Connect button on the back to reconnect.

That said, if the music is streaming from the connector, the problem might be in the TV settings, especially if it is a somewhat current Samsung smart tv. There is a setting that enables digital output always on(I’m assuming the BT TV connector is using optical digital cable from TV).

Thanks Jhbcpa, but it is an older version of the compilot where you have to press the <> keys on the side and the plus key to reset. I will try again when I see her tomorrow, but from what I have read it sounds as if the device is still pared with the original Hearing aids and the only way to break this pairing is with a factory reset using the Target software.

Please can I get the Phonak target software to help with my hearing aids. Thank you

Thanks for hosting the forum Tenkan. I’ve reached level 1 in trust just by browsing the site. It seems I can reply to your post, but I don’t think I can post yet until I’ve been on the forum longer. Is that right? What do I need to do in order to post a comment? Thank you for your help.

Oh it looks like reply is the same as posting a comment. Is that right?
