Phonak Roger NeckLoop Option for Speech to Text

I think it is referring to charging on the go…

It takes you through the process of attaching the NeckLoop and opening the Speech to Text App and talking into the Roger Mic.

Is this not referring to an iPhone?

This is odd…I looked at it, i think it is inaccurate … somebody didn’t really test this on iPhone…

How do you know it’s not accurate as Phonak haven’t mentioned anything?

Either way, I’ve emailed Phonak UK to confirm so we can see.

Apple official document state the usb only support mass storage and PTP. I am sorry that you were misled in that regard…

EDIT: Oh i am wrong… look like they updated the document/OS to support other hardware… Wow… weird… Use Apple USB-A camera adapters with USB-A devices - Apple Support

Does seem I will have to power my iPhone to use this set up tho.

That’s a bummer.

Think it’s to do with the lightning adaptor?

it should work

“`Audio/MIDI interfaces and devices”

Found a NeckLoop on eBay.

Much cheaper.

Gonna test it out.

I’ll report back.

Now I’m confused as why would you need a Roger for the Call to Text App?!

Sometimes Phonak don’t know what they are talking about……I think.

They only tested their own app and verified it is working there. They are not going to test other third party app…

That makes sense.
