Phonak P90 Right battery not always charging over night

My 4 year old Phonak P90 hearing aids work well but occasionally the right aid does not charge overnight, although it seems fine on inserting in the charger. It will charge if re-inserted, but this is inv=convenient.

I have cleaned the charger but the problem persists.

Any experience or advice?

maybe the charger overheats and that’s why it stops charging. try to switch places, put the left one in the right side and the right one in the left side. just to find out if the devices are the cause of the failure or the charger
