Mmmm just a quick possibility on the phonak nhs website being down just seen on facebook nhs might be getting a new range of hearing aids in april i wonder if that might explain the website being down for now what is 10 days i have an appointment in april so will see if my audiologist knows anything then
Phonak Naida P70 UP is being handed out now but wasn’t on the website but is way too powerful for your loss.
The suspended website was only for Phonak.
@Zebras i’m just curious can you view the website at all? Because I haven’t been able to view it at all for the last ten days and saw someone saying on the facebook phonak hearing aid community that his audiologist said that the nhs would be getting some new phonak hearing aids in april so was curious if that mean’t they might be getting a new cros aid at some point? Or if it just means where he goes will be getting the Phonak Nadia P70 UP
I have no idea. Might be but NHS don’t hand out RIC HAs and the CROS P, only links to the Phonak Audeo P HAs.
They could have changed the rules tho.

@Zebras glad I’m not the only one who can’t view the phonak nhs website because i was beginning to wonder if it was an issue with my web browser.
Doe’s anyone know what is happening with Phonak and the NHS yet I have someone asking what options of phonak hearing aids the nhs provide and i have no idea what to say i know they do the nathos nova m and pr and the Nadia P70 but don’t know if they are still offering any of the nathos auto m range still.
They can’t offer anymore than what they are offering.
Phonak Nathos Nova for mild to moderate losses.
Phonak Nadia P70 UP for severe to profound.
There is no other newer BTE Phonak to offer!
If your hospital are still handing out the Nathos Auto, it’ll be that they have old stock.

@zebras thank you I’ll let them know I thought that might be the case but just because I heard that there might be a new range coming in April i just didn’t know if there might be anymore known of even if it’s not available quite yet
It’s the Nadia P70 UP which will be handed out by all hospitals as the older Nadia M70 SP is not powerful enough for some but until a little while ago, the M70 SP is all they had as a UP Aid wasn’t out.
@Zebras Ok good to know that just found it all very weird hearing what i did and the website being suspended for all this time
I could be totally wrong but in terms of Phonak BTE Aids on the market, there is nothing newer so I’m pretty sure I’m correct.
@zebras it’s funny because the phonak nhs website has now gone from saying suspended to saying the certificate for this site is invalid
