I’ve recently been fitted with a Nathos Auto M and am very pleased with it.
However, I don’t have any information regarding the features available via the programme button. In particular, how to enable / disable Inductive Hearing Loop mode.
Can anyone help. I was supposed to be issued with an instruction sheet but the printer was down.
I have these Phonak HAs as well and the T-Loop function doesn’t appear to have been programmed, Seems strange to omit for such a universally utilised function. Is there any reason an audiologist wouldn’t just automatically activate this feature in HAs capable of it?
Yes a bit useless about sums them up. Makes you wonder if they even know about these features!
I found some useful information on here about “streaming” for TV listening. Looks like I need a Compilot II and TV Link to use with my Nathos Auto M’s so I’ll get them make sure that capability is enabled as well.
Picked up a Phonak TV Link II (includes a Compilot II) and RemoteMic from ebay. Also picked up a Roger Pen and Roger X reciever.
I can hear the test sound through my HA’s but no steaming connections. Tried the TV Link, RemoteMic, phone, iPod via wire phono lead and Roger Pen via the Roger X none of them stream to the HA’s.
The TV Link, RemoteMic and phone all pair successfully with the Compilot II.
Just returned from a repair apppointment with the NHS Audiologist who switched on T-Loop and Roger steaming but couldn’t find a way to activate the HA’s to connect with the Compilot?
Next stop is the speciaist NHS Audiology department at the Royal Surrey Hospital (in Guildford).
Is there anything I can say/suggest to help them configure these HA’s to “talk” to the Compilot?
As it’s a second hand ComPilot, you’ll need to have it factory reset to get rid of the old owners linking.
Or if the audiologist can’t figure out how to factory reset, then ask for it to be linked to your Aids. I’ll be very surprised if the audiologist can’t do either.
Hi Zebras, can’t the OP do this in Target without Noah link using a usb cable?
It’s along time back and I’m not sure but when I got my compilot from the US I think I had the same problem.

The audiologist had good click around in the Target software but couldn’t work out how to link the Compilot to the HA’s. I was watching intently and in fairness there were now menu options that mentioned Compilot! She didn’t even attempt to reset it…
She did switch on T-Loop and enabled Roger Direct but of course with the setup I currently have the Roger Pen connects to the Compilot (via the Roger X) so you still need the Compilot connected to the HA’s…
Its crazy that owner/user can’t perform a factory reset on the Compilot but there we are .
Hopefully the “Hearware@RSCH” specialist at the Royal Surrey will be able to help.
To link it, you connect it to the computer via a USB cable, with your Aid settings open on the computer. Then you’ll be able to use it as a remote control as well. Then exit the software and save to ComPilot.
Quite simple really. I’m quite shocked as how poor some audiologists knowledge are.
Did the audiologist add the Roger program within the hearing aid programs or on the ComPilot programs? Sounds like she added it via the hearing aid programs which means it won’t work via the ComPilot.
So the “HearWear” service based at the Royal Surrey Hospital were able to pair the Compilot (II) to my Nathos Auto M’s. The TVLink, RemoteMic and Roger Pen (via the Roger X in the Compilot) all work perfectly. The Roger Pen in particular is brilliant!, a revelation in group settings
My next quest is to try and get the remote settings to work. It seems that this functionality was supported on the Nathos M’s (Venture Platform) by the Phonak RemoteControl App through the Compilot. The RemoteControl App has now been superseded by the MyPhonak App. Sadly the MyPhonak App only supports direct connections via Bluetooth to newer Marvel and Paradise HA’s NOT to/through the Compilot
