Phonak Naida V UP cable connection

Hi, I,ve bought some Naida V UP aids from Ebay and they don’t have the conventional 4 pin 44a socket but a flat 4 terminal pcb board.
Can someone tell me how to connect to these please.

Did you pry up the cover?

The “flat 4 terminal pcb board” that you mentioned is to add on an FM receiver (see #10 in the diagram);

Here’s a reference document.

Buying an iCube would be a lot easier.

Hi Zebras your correct but I couldn’t afford.
Have you come across this type of connection ?

You need to open the hinge to get to the socket.

Hi PVC,
thank you for that. What you don’t know about hearing aids isn’t worth knowing.
Thi ones in a different place to my others. Mike

Hi Zebras, sorry didn’tsee your reply.Thank you.Mike

Hi again,
Target is saying to use IPFG which does connect to the aid. I thought Target worked with spice chip and those after. These are Naida Q?
Mike

The first-generation Naída (launched in 2008) had a “V UP” model. It’s based on the CORE platform and programmed using iPFG.

Yes Naida V UP is based on the Core platform which came out in 2008 and uses the IPFG software.

If they were the Naida Q, they would either say Naida Q50 UP, Naida Q70 UP or Naida Q90 UP.

Thanks everyone. That makes sense. Mike
