Actually i have see that Phonak Naida Paradise UP is not Compatible in Target with Phonak Naida Paradise PR
Do somebody may know if my hearing loss on my left Ear is to Little for the UP version?
Thanks in Advance for Reply.
I dont like the Recharable versions too .And the UP version wold be required for my right Ear. .
Took a look at Target.
Your left ear does not fit into the Naida P UP fitting range but the Naida PR with rechargeable battery does fit your left ear. That Naida PR aid could be fit with the standard sound tube or the power slimtube and still fit your left ear hearing loss.
Have you updated Target?
The Problem is that when i select Naida PR for the Left Ear Target say when i select the Naida UP for the Right Ear that they are not Compatible.Becouse i think that The Paradise Versions of the HA can
linkthem self to each other with bluetooth for some of the features. When they are not compatible in Target i assume the can not . So fitting will be not optimal if i need to fit them separetely.
Have you unlinked your left and right sides?
The chain link between the gain charts.
That is very odd that you can not select these two Paradise Naida aids as a set.
@Dani or @Zebras or @tenkan might be able to help.
I was also told by an audiologist in the UK that the PR Naida and the UP Naida can’t be linked.
I’m the same with a better right ear.
I haven’t got the up to date Target to actually check myself. (I can’t update as I’m using a special Target software to program ‘locked’ hearing aids.)
Ok so I remember we have discussed this before on the forum but I can’t find it at the moment, but it was someone trying to pair the older platform to a newer platform (V50 to B50 ?) which couldn’t be done, although they were able to link from the same family (say V50 to V90)
I think here it’s simply because of the rechargeable voltage is different from the 675 battery, plus the rechargeable does have other features that the UP doesn’t, so wouldn’t make a good match as a set.
Took another look in Target.
The Paradise UP and PR Naida aids do show incompatible but you CAN fit them separately. As mentioned there would be a few features missing but you can wear these aids and they can be fitted to your loss.
I am curious if they would communicate Bluetooth wise, phone and TV connector for example. If all you lost was the tap control they might be a great fit for you. Maybe @RogerPM would know?
@Raudrive Bluetooth won’t be streamed to both Naida UP and PR as they aren’t linked within the software.
BUT you might be able to pair the
Bluetooth separately within the phone but I can’t be 100% if that is possible.
With my iPhone, I can have both my ComPilot and Garmin watch connected at both times so it might be possible to link both, the PR and UP to Bluetooth on the phone.
