I have spoken with my HCP regarding this and they not sure why. Switching between different bluetooth devices, it doesn’t do it automatically like the paradise does. I’m missing phone calls as well, but it shows it’s connected to my phone and Mac. When I’m watching a movie on my Mac, then want to continue on my iPhone, it doesnt switch between the devices.
There is a firmware update for the Naida Lumity’s, that increases overall clarity (well it did for me) also the app was needing to be updated, to the latest version…After I installed the latest Apple software on my iPhone 12, I couldn’t hear a streamed phone call, well I could, but it was like the speaker was in the next room, so I deleted the MyPhonak app, reinstalled the newer version, all is now running smoothly again… Basically, new firmware installed on the Naida’s, new software installed on the iPhone, App removed, then reinstalled… Then we were good to go… Cheers Kev
I have done reset and deleted the app and reinstalled it. Audiologist is not sure, what’s wrong with it. They will ask Phonak, but Phonak gave their usual bluetooth reset instructions. There is no firmware update available.
It shows as 1.0.1.1. strange audiologist connected my hearing aid and said there’s no software updates available. I don’t know what’s going on here. I appreciate your help. May I show this screenshot to my audiologist. Hopefully we can get bottom of this.
Thinking out loud @trainspotwest1_spot, it could possibly be, that his Target software is needing updating? Your A.uD maybe still on Target 9.0.5, the latest version is 10.0 I believe? Cheers Kev
I had my firmware update. Looks like Phonak have gone backward from paradise line.
“Phonak Lumity hearing aids can pair with up to eight Bluetooth-enabled devices, but you can only connect to two at a time. You can switch between the two devices automatically, depending on which one is sending audio to your hearing aids. For example, if you’re watching a video on your iPad and streaming audio to your hearing aids, and then you start listening to music on your phone, the hearing aids will automatically switch to your phone.” That’s just false advertisement.
New Phonak hearing aid don’t do that. they connect two devices at the same time, however it doesn’t between the two devices. Thank god for 60 days return and money back.
