I have on trial a pair of Resound Quattro’s, which I intend to return, because of streaming problems, also, I don’t find them a great improvement over my current aids.
I would like to go for the Phonak’s, because the ability to stream from any Android device. If I choose the M70’s, it would be almost a straight swap, with no extra cost involved, as I bought the Quattro’s at a discounted price. The M90’s would be an extra £400. I am retired with a mostly quiet lifestyle, so would it be worth paying the extra for them, or do you think I would find the M70’s or even the M50’s suitable?

I had the same question when I was contemplating these hearing aids. I ultimately ended up with M70Rs because I found that the biggest differences were in noisy environments such as crowded halls or restaurants and a bit in the car which was not a super high priority for me and the differences were subtle.
And what I learned about myself is m90 autosense is in my opinion a bit more intrusive than M70s. I am a person that is very sensitive to noise reduction programs and would rather not use them at all except in very noisy or complex environments. That said some people feel Autosense is a Godsend in all environments.
You said you are retired and live a quiet lifestyle so guessing most of your time is either indoors, on walks and sometimes a restaurant or public place. Do you severely struggle in public or noisy venues and if so are you in that venue often enough to make those situations a priority in your HA purchase? If yes then maybe the M90s will be with the cost. If not you will probably be happy with the M70s.
However, won’t your Audi let you trial both? If that’s possible then that is what you should do.
Hi mde89651 Thanks for your reply. I don’t often frequent noisy venues, so not really a problem. I did try the Audeo B90 last year and found the Autosense a little disconcerting. So I will ask for a trial of the M70.
I wear the Virto V70 ITC and also own a V90 Ric. The only difference where noise is concerned is that on the V70, if it is really noisy, I would have to switch manually to the speech in loud noise program, whereas on the V90 it would automatically switch. To be honest, in the last 18 months, I’ve rarely been in really noisy situations and have just switched manually when wearing the V70s, and even then, there wasn’t that much difference in terms of comprehension between the 2 programs.

You mention streaming. Either choice would be identical for the quality of streaming music. I might add that the fullness and beauty of streaming music is exceptional with my Marvels. And streaming music was very high on my list in my choice of the Marvels.

My Audi recommended me quattro and signia over phonak because of some connectivity issues and not to mention the soundrecover2 isnt that great as per him
i am still wondering have the phonak made any improvements in virto m70 itc?
