Phonak lumity vs paradise technology level

Is there much difference between the L70 and L90, and the L70 and P70?
I don’t need touch control or health tracking functions. I just need to hear better.

Comfort in Echo is one enhancement of the 90. However, I think all the “speech in noise” efforts (car, echo, loud noise etc) are pretty similar and all reduce the volume of the person you want to hear as well (Marvel, Paradise, Lumity). Infinio Sphere may be the holy grail though.

If you need to upgrade, you should upgrade to the Infinio platform. They have both the sphere and non-sphere versions. The lumity is the previous platform. My hearing aid specialist told me there isn’t much of a difference between the paradise and lumity.

What is the difference b/w Sphere and non Sphere version?

Sphere is bigger. That is to fit in an extra chip, and probably extra battery to power that chip. The chip provides an effective (for many users) noise suppression in noisy environments. It is one of three HAs which seem to have really cracked the nut of speech in loud noise which has been a complaint forever. The others are under starkey and oticon brands. It is likely they take a bit different approaches to how they work, and what doesn’t work for you in one brand may work in another. The fitter and your fitting remains critical to success. A more occluded fitting seems to help by preventing noise from leaking in and spoiling the clean sound from the HA.

These have been discussed here quite a bit. Search around for more on this. It has been nearly beat to death. Lots of great reviews from real wearers.
