HI, I was able to pair my Phonak L90 aids to Windows 11. It shows up as a connected Bluetooth device. However it does not show up as an audio device. Is this supported? If so, how?

I am running Windows 11 Pro and trialed the Lumity L90’s back in early January. They showed up as audio speech and music devices, IIRC, and the streaming from my computer worked very well. One thing I’ve found for sound devices in Windows 11 is that sometimes you need to go into the classic Control Panel settings (which still exist) and tweak things.
To get the full array of classic Control Panel settings for Sound, launch the Control Panel (I have it as a shortcut on my desktop), then mouse right-click on Sound and pick “Open.” You should then have access to all the classic Control Panel sound settings on various tabs. I don’t know what your problem might be with the Lumitys. Maybe you should try forgetting them and repairing?
But things can be quirky in Windows sound settings. For instance, I have a Blue Yeti X Pro desktop microphone, which I only use as a microphone. But in the classic Control Panel, the device also has an entry on the Playback tab as a Speaker! If I don’t enable the speaker playback functionality for the Blue Yeti, it’s Recording tab microphone function won’t work! So something similar might be going on for your Lumitys (sorry, I can’t remember if there was anything tricky about setting them up). You want to see the R-Phonak Hearing Aid device connected, IIRC, in Windows BT settings. There are separate BT connections for BT control via BT LE, at least on a smartphone. It’s the R-Phonak Hearing Aid device that’s the audio, music connection, etc.
Hope this helps. It does work.
Discommoded and rediscovered and now they are working. Thanks.
