Phonak Lumity L90 in wind

I have a question about my lumity L-90s hearing aids when outside with wind. Mine seem to cause everything to get too quiet to the point that I can’t even voices. Does anyone else have this problem?

That is common for Phonak wind handling. If you reduce the setting of wind handling parameter then the effect will be not so drastic.

I found when this was happening to me, it was the compression that was the issue.

Yes, I have that issue, too. I also feel it is the age old MPO (max power output) vs gain going on. I’ve Got my gain just about riding on the MPO, but there’s only so much compensation aids can make in noisy places.

Wind, ambient noise, even watching action movies at night will all make the volume in my aids go WAY WAY down. There’s no way to just leave human speech frequencies untouched. So I’m straining to hear speech as well as getting the ambient noise muted aggressively.
