Phonak low battery tones

My Phonak CIC low battery is like the sound of emergency vehicles. Two loud long ish blares that stops me in my tracks, and then it immediately dies. Is this, the volume and little to no warning, normal or a setting thing?

I am not familiar with the CIC, however the tones and volume of warnings in RIC aids can be adjusted using the Target software (which is the software used by your audiologist)

Thank you! I put it on list to ask my audi to adjust; hope it’s available for my device.

Do you know if you can also adjust when it comes on to have more warning time?

My Phonak (a Link, paired to my CI) gives me three soft beeps when the battery is low. Then dies about three minutes later. It’s frustrating how little warning it gives me.

My previous Phonak, a Nadia UP model, gave me significantly longer. It would give me a couple of warnings, maybe 15-20 minutes in advance.
