I live in Canada. Is it possible for you to share the price you would be paying for sphère. Thanks

Phonak apparently told my audiologist that a bunch of colors are currently unavailable until further notice. I had really wanted the green ones, but I guess that won’t be an option for me unless I just want to wait for months?

OMG this IS exciting! I know we can count on you for a detailed, honest review. And f’petessake, KEEP the bling in Sienna RED!!!

Can’t wait to get your insights. My old audi pinged me over the weekend just to ask if I’d seen these Speres yet, cuz he KNOWS I’d be a candidate, but the battery life and bulk of them just doesn’t appeal to me.

When I talked with Wholesale Hearing they said that Phonak were focusing their manufacturing on the four most popular colours, with the wider range coming around Christmas time. Silver, grey, champagne and a pink skin colour being in the initial manufacturing runs (which is a shame as I fancied black or green).

How long of a warranty did you have with your Phonak hearing aids? In Poland, it is three years, but on Wholesale Hearing, I see five years… :hushed:

Great review …. I know have them and will see if I find all the same pros and cons …. Would really be great if you continue with your findings and adjustments … all appreciated .

Wonderful review. You give me hope!
I’ve had my Paradise P90R’s for 3 years. Warranty is over. I’m due for new ones in two years. I have new hearing aids and chargers after warranty check. My battery capacity is much much better.
But workman’s comp doesn’t allow the best hearing aids. They buy below that level.

Your review is great. However, all hearing aids should perform at this level.

As soon as I got my Paradise P90R’s I told my dispensing audi they were defective. Fast forward 3 years–Hearing Instrument Specialist sent them in just before warranty ended. New hearing aids and new charger.
Point is the new rechargeable batteries are amazing. They last and last.

Maybe your two pairs of hearing aids need warranty replacement?

I also have the new 5.0 receivers. Hallelujah! Threw the old 4.0 receivers away. Thank heaven. Back to wax guards that work! And domes that stay on.

Excellent news!

Thanks for your help in the past. Looking forward to hearing more about yournew HA’s.

I only got the rechargeable battery replaced in both sets of Phonak Lumity Life rechargeables. And yes, that was squeaked in a few months before the warranty ran out.

While not in a position (or actually need) to burn £2.5k on new HAs, the Wholesale Hearing sales model is definitely of interest. If I was bothered about REM, presumably I’d need to pay a local audiologist who does Phonak?

5 year warranty is quite something too. Maybe at the point of ‘Infinio+1’ coming out it might be an option.

I had a separate program installed for Spheric Clarity I can manually enable

That is a good price if you are happy with domes, they don’t want to get involved with cShells.

I will upgrade to Sphere when the warranty on my P90Rs with Acrylic cShells expires and
would like the the Spheres to have Titanium cShells with AOV. Domes would be a backward step.

I can’t see any local HAP ordering me cShells without the Spheres which would be at full price.

Specsavers (UK provider) does the Phonak Infinio Sphere 90 for £2,995. I expect they will do the cShells. I will probably go there as first port of call. Why pay Boots £1,000 more?

I have KS10s with Phonak made cShells. They have a serial number so I don’t see why Wholesale Hearing could not just order the cShells using that information. It would be in their interest to do that, assuming the new receiver is not significantly larger than the ones I have with the KS10s.

Thanks. I didn’t realise that Specsavers are £1000 less than Boots.

I have been in contact with Wholesale Hearing and they wont supply cShells. They say get them locally.

I have the Acoustic Code and Serial No on the cShells but I think I need new impressions as the Titanium cShells are longer as they go around the second bend.

The Acoustic Code is accepted by Target set for I90 Sphere but my shells are old with a 1.5mm vent and the new have AOV. I don’t know what difference that makes.

@John_G
Interesting to hear that your old 3-pins C-shells code is accepted for a Sphere. Wondering what the actual code means as the pins will not fit anyway. But maybe the code only tells something about the venting.

I just watched this review. He misses one of the biggest pluses. On days when you don’t use the Spheric Noise reduction…you get 30+ hours of battery life. Not sure how he missed that.
