I’ve had my right infinio i90 since December. I’ve been muting and unmuting to see if it’s working. Sometimes I can see a difference but sometimes not. Don’t think the speech in loud noise is kicking in. I went to a quiz night last week and the quizmasters Mike was the only thing I could hear, I switched to speech in loud noise but no different. I mentioned these problems to audiologist and she tweaked it. I have to turn the programme up now though.I had some problems with the power domes not sealing at first but that’s ok now. I have also developed tinnitus started about a week before getting the aid so I don’t think it’s connected.Just wondering if I’m getting used to the aid. It’s my first hearing aid, I avoided getting one despite my hearing in my right ear deteriorating for over 30 years. Was I expecting too much from the hearing aid? Bought it from wholesale hearing rather than boots because of the price difference.

Have you checked your myPhonak app to see if it is really muting or not?
You can see what program is currently being used at the moment by clicking the “adjust program” button at the bottom of the page in the myPhonak app.
