Phonak I90 music streaming without mic

Hello, Is it possible for my Audi to setup music streaming without the +mic?
I would like to stream music and be able to make adjustments to the equalizer. With the mic option in Bluetooth streaming, the only adjustment is the the volume of ambient sound. That is a great safety feature if you are streaming while walking , but it would be nice to just simply stream music adjusted to the way I like it.

There’s adjustments that can be made in target, but it seems not a total mute unfortunately.

Try Power Amp App, it’s fantastic, I use it with very good results.

Adjusting the Ambient slider in the current Phonak app will alter the mix between the microphones and the stream, but your results will depend on how “open” your fitting is (how much unprocessed external sound reaches your ear canal). I never found the rudimentary three-band e.q. available for streaming in the previous app version particularly helpful for improving streaming music - BUT be aware that most streaming apps give you the ability to adjust e.q. at the Source, before the stream hits the HAs. Adjusting there has given me more satisfying results, but with my somewhat open fitting the lower frequencies and overall experience just isn’t capable of being as all-enveloping as, say, typical earbuds or headphones.

I have been having the same challenges with my Phonak I90s. Yesterday I was working in my shop and listening to YouTube videos. When I was about to use some loud power tools, I decided to mute the hearing aids using the Phonak app. On my iPad I muted the aids. Then I returned to the YouTube video and immediately the aids were full sound again. Finally I had partial success by simply pulling the volume slider down all the way in the app. I also discovered that if I am listening to an Apple Music tune, I can successfully mute the mic on my aids. Somehow there seems to be a difference and I continue to look for clues. I do know that when I listen to Apple Music, I can close the cover on my iPad and the music keeps playing. Also on my iPhone, I can darken my phone, to tuck it away in my pocket, and the music keeps playing. Not so with playing anything on YouTube. As soon as I close my iPad cover, YouTube shuts down. I suspect the Phonak App is tied into this and responding accordingly.
