Hello. New to the forum. This spring I got new Phonak hearing aids. I have an intermittent problem with one of them where it will just stop transmitting any sound. The device is still on, it is connected to other side, so I can hear volume adjustments and what not. Everything works, there’s just no sound. The device has been replaced twice, I’ve gone through at least four receivers, the entire profile has been stripped and reprogrammed by my audiologist, and this problem keeps popping back up.
Anyone had something similar happen to them?
So the bad aid you can hear notifications or beeps from volume changes?
If so, the microphone sure sounds like it is bad.

I forgot to mention that this problem is a sporadic one that happens randomly (though almost always in the morning) and the only way I can get it to resolve itself is by power cycling the unit 6-12 times. After it resolved itself, it’s usually good for the rest of the day.
That probably would have been useful info in my first post, huh?
According to the audiologist, there are actually three microphones on this unit. I get no sound from any of them, so the mic is out as a culprit.
Could be a loose wire although only in the morning has me stumped. Could be a faulty switch. Either way the Audi should send them back to be looked at. It shouldn’t be your job to figure it out
