After batteries were fully charged,I left them in charger, which was still attached to power supply,one hearing aid discharged. Anyone know why? Had a few hiccups with charger so I double check they are charging, and check they are charged.
Mine do that occasionally. I have no idea why but a SWAG is that it loses charging contact for any number of reasons such as temperature, humidity, vibration, contacts need cleaning, etc. If it happens a few times in a row I clean the charging contacts on the aids with an alcohol wipe. If I think the charger contacts need cleaning I dip a Q-Tip in alcohol to clean them.
I like that some of the newer aids don’t have a mechanical contact but rather have induction charging so there are no contacts to clean. Phonak Lumity is an example.
