Question about the Bluetooth streaming category for the Phonak Paradise Naida UP.
I’m using this for two main purposes, listening to my music through the iPhone, and video conferencing through Teams at work. What I’m finding is that when I stream music from my phone, I’m always increasing the balance more towards Audio, to limit the microphone. But when streaming through Teams, I keep it in the middle, as I need to hear my voice.
Is it possible to have two separate parameters for this? As before my next audiologist appointment, I would like them to increase for streaming music instead of me going the the app all the time. But I don’t want this for my steaming audio for teams?
I’d be interested in the answer as I would have the same problem, if I ever upgrade my Phonak’s.
Side note: if you can’t separate the audio to be able to hear your surroundings when on Teams, have you tried to use a telecoil neckloop for when on Teams? That’s what I use at the moment and I can hear my surroundings. Might be a solution if others say you can’t sort your surrounding sound out.
I actually have telicoil setup (which is what I used in the past), but the audio quality with Bluetooth streaming is so much better overall (plus nice not to have to wear a headset!).
Wondering if there a way to categorize your streaming parameters (mic 1 & mic2). Perhaps is a button control thing?
Unfortunately, it still doesn’t appear you can save the bluetooth parameters. Also think the bluetooth streaming is whatever comes through (first come first serve).
