Phonak Audeo Paradise P90 R setting changes

Several days ago I was watching a youtube video and couldn’t understand the speaker.

I changed programs. I have setup:

  • Calm situation mask program
  • Voice in very noisy environment mask program.

Word recognition changed A LOT by using the “Calm Situation Mask Program” On investigation, all I needed to do was push CLARITY on the myPhonak App.

I wonder what other settings will improve the performance of my HA’s and improve word recognition. I received my hearing aids about a year and a half ago. I have an appointment setup with my audiologist. It will be in a month and a half.

I’m not happy with the way the P90R’s are setup.

My audiologist took my 10 year old phonics and set them up for me as spares. I really appreciate that he did that.
There’s magic in those old hearing aids.
I’m grateful that I have the P90’s. It’s time for me to find a way to get them to perform better, so I can hear better in any environment. Quiet or noisy

I can see why others here buy the equipment to set them up themselves.

You could too, just reach out on the DIY forum, plenty of us doing this now, lots of people to help you along the way.
