Hello I have question to all phonak paradise p90 users, I am having this model from last two three weeks. When I try to open battery door it takes lot of effort to open feel like I would break door and closing is hard push to close. I asked my audi she said all of them have same door. Just wondering do you guys experiencing same thing in opening and closing door or its mine only has defect. Secondly how many days batteries last mine one roughly three to four days. I would appreciate your responses.
Sounds like you have the 312 batteries. I have the P90 13T’s, battery doors are big enough to get a grip on and I find them tight but not hard. They must have a good moisture seal as I sweat a lot and have been caught in the rain without any issues. Battery life for me is 6 to 7 days, I’m connected to 2 iPhones most days and my iPad or Samsung tablet on weekends.
Cheers, Wayne
I have a pair of p90-312s and the battery doors definitely snap shut very tightly and as a result are a bit difficult to open. At first I was actually more worried about crushing the shell while gripping it to open the battery door than I was about the door itself!
My 312 batteries last around 5 days with some, but not a lot of, streaming.
Thanks guys for info, as you are same models users just little more info. I have too much feedback if I am at home or in quite place it is ok as Soon as I come outside or go to some store or little noisy environment a static sound like as you tune your radio and bad tuning sounds feels. Audiologist adjusted twice and also She added now molds but same results. Wondering If you guys experiencing same situations. This is my third week on trial and I have 60 days free trial.
I’ve been using molds for years. There are a number of reasons for the noise. I have severe to profound loss so the vent hole is very small,(less than 1mm). That helps reduce feedback noise. Also the audiologist performed the feedback test and REM before any small adjustments. After fitting, the audiologist cupped his hands over my ears to make sure the setting was good.
Cheers, Wayne
I purchased Paradise 13T and I’m at the end of my first week and my batteries are still good after 7 days. I’m using the LUX PerfectDry at night and I take the batteries out before putting them in the UV light/drier as I’m sure the heat isn’t good for battery life.
Are you taking the batteries out at night or opening them part way so they aren’t using battery during the night? There seems to be a sort of double latch. I open and it clicks and them I open further for another click. I would assume that is the way you turn them OFF if you don’t actually remove the batteries at night? I’m also thinking that it’s a good idea to switch L/R batteries as when I’m streaming the R HA battery drains faster.
I have 675 batteries and the doors snap shut. Sometimes it requires a double push. But I’m by no means struggling to open and close the doors.
Naida q50 UP 675 battery, I use a fingernail to open the door. Because the doors have a small latch and then an opening. And the unitron Moxi blu that I also have is rechargeable, it’s really hard to pull out of the charger. Once my finger was greasy so I couldn’t even pull the hearing aid out of the charger
I hope you don’t bite your nails? If you bite your nails, save at least one finger
