Received my new Phonak Infinio (NOT sphere) aids from the VA today.
So far, very happy.
Driving home, the road noise was much less noticeable, and I could understand the words being spoken on the radio without needing to concentrate. I could also understand the lyrics being sung, without needing to know the song being played, and I could hear guitar notes and drum beats that were previously missing. I was even able to turn the radipo down a notch from where it had been set previously.
So far, I haven’t needed to say “excuse me?” to anyone, but I haven’t really been around other people yet. The true test may be to see if I can actuallu understand my grand daughters…
As others have remarked, the charger is much smaller than previous generations, and my custom molds barely fit.
So far, I’m very pleased, and I really don’t think I’ll be trying to pursue the Sphere models when my trial period is up - if they are even on the VA contract by then.

Sphere is a game changer imho for speech in noise.
Overall tho Infinio is good for everything else.
