Phonak Audeo I-90 Sphere & Target software

I would be grateful if anyone has a suggestion to the following.

On Target, on the reset hearing aid screen the Audeo I90 Spheres are shown but refuse to be detected. Target version is Phonak Target 10.0.0.2318

FYI the factory reset on my Phonak audeo’s L-LR are detected and are able to be reset so I am guessing an update is required but where on target do I find the update button?

Any suggestions gratefully received. Thanks.

Make sure your aids are NOT connecting to anything else ie: phone bluetooth or tv connector.

Thanks. They are not. Besides, the Audeo’s connect okay, and if you read the DETAILS on the screen shot it states the reset is unavailable. That is my point.

Just curious, why are you trying to reset them? If there is an operational issue you could try rebooting the hearing aids.

Hi Ray,
I am learning to use Target 10.
I have saved the audi session and I want to reset the HA’s to factory setting so that I can carry out a new session.

If you read the details in the screen shot above, it clearly states that the Reset to factory settings are unavailable

Why?

Hi
You have l later firmware in your HAs than Target knows about. It seems that you need to update Target to the latest available version first.
Anyway, no need to reset the HAs. Just beginn with a new Customer an set them up from the scratch.

Yes as stated, target has advised the firmware is later then the software, no need at all to be trying to “reset to factory” unless there’s an issue with the HAs, just start a new client/session, this will be a clean state to begin with anyway.

Thanks. I cannot find a means to do this on Target. Where is the update button please?

If I do this, the audio-gram stored in the HA’s loads up. That, I don’t want, and that is why I wanted to carry out a factory reset so I would have to create a new audiogram.

When you connect the hearing aids to Target with a new client, you will be given the option of using the data in the hearing aids or in the new session. Don’t choose the hearing aid option. All of the original data and settings is stored in the client you set up for the audi client. When ever you want to go back to that, just connect your aids after opening the audi client and choose use date from session (not from hearing aids). That will restore the original data and settings.

But you can change that at will, you don’t have to use it in the new session, but as @raylock1 has showen, but I guess the question is, you wanna try another audiogram from some where else?
Just as a side note, you could also do In-situ audiogram fitting, that would also overwrite if used, many ways to skin a Possum so they say ; )
