Phonak Ambra cic issue

Hi
I have purchased the phonak Ambra cic for my right ear. I have had it in for 1 week now but not noticing much difference. I still struggle on situations that led me to buy hearing aid in the first place. Would it be because the cic is not strong enough for my loss?
Or it just need re programming. I told the hearing aid specialist that i wanted the cic or iic as i was not wearing the hearing aid from nhs because of the size. The hearing aid works but not getting that wow feel. Or that relief that you can hear again. It just does not feel that I’m gaining that much having a aid. But as you can see from below results I need an aid. Maybe I’ve gone so long getting used to using my good ear. Any comments would be helpful.
I get 2 months trial. This aid is pricey. I don’t want to waste my money if not powerful enough.

Thanks

as long as you think you look good… with a cic sticking out your ear. so you got what you demanded not what you needed. what did the HIS recommend?

Hearing aids which are in the ear are actually more noticeable. The one that you would of got from nhs, are actually small aids and less noticeable and not heavy on your ears.

With your loss, you would prob benefit more from a BTE or RIC hearing aid. Then you may feel the wow factor.

IMBack is right tho.
