Philips 9050 and Pixel 9 - confirmation please

I have Philips 9050 HAs. I understand that the Google pixel 9 phone is fully compatible. So can it support hands free phone calls rather than just hearing the caller on the HA but needing to speak to the phone as with a Samsung phone. Can anyone confirm this please?

Yes. It will do handsfree calls with the 9050. I have the 9050 and a Pixel 8 Pro. Hands free no problem on any Pixel from 7 onwards.

Edit: The “from 7 onwards” part might be problematic. Pixel 8, 9 series I’m still confident with (he says hopefully).

Pixel Fold down are not HAP.

Erk. Ok, thanks. I take that back and I’ll edit my post

Philips says the Pixel 7a, 8a and 9a need another device for hands free calling. Google support told me that the 9a does not have an assistant for Auracast.

The 9a shows HAP, so it should support Hands-Free.
This is from my P 9, but I’d assume the 9a has the same w/ android 16.
IDK if Philips support the Easy LE Adapter for non LEA phones, maybe it’s exclusive to Oticon?
