It’s been a little while since I last logged-in, last time was likely in october or november 2024, in any case before the forum software change.
Today, I tried logging-in to no avail, it didn’t accept my old password, nor I’m able to change the password.
The password re-setting form says that my new password is OK, I click on change password, and nothing seems to happen. The login form keeps saying “Incorrect username, email or password”
I tried with 3 different browsers, just in case…
I’m only able to login thanks to the “email me a login link” feature.
I also tried once logged in this way. Didn’t work.
I just reset mine, no issues. My guess is their email was on the suppression list from either a previous spam report they made against one of our emails or an ISP block. We can reset these locally so people can always write in to support@hearingtracker.com and we’ll help them get back online with their old accounts by removing them from the suppressions list. That list is in place to ensure we don’t email anyone who marked our emails as spam.
Thanks for the info and help.
It’s kind of weird. I’ve never reported any email coming from hearingtracker.com as spam, actually the opposite because gmail started sending at least some if not all of your emails to the spam folder by itself.
I have finally succeeded in changing my password.
The issue was that, up until now, a message after submitting the password about it having too many similar characters wasn’t being shown for some reason, therefore my new password wasn’t being accepted by the server but I wasn’t informed about it. Once I could see the message I tried a more complex password and all went well.
