Hello everyone, My name is Eri Iwagami, and I am a post-doctoral research fellow in the Department of Speech, Hearing and Phonetic Sciences at UCL. I am currently recruiting older adults aged 60 and over with age-related hearing loss (ideally using hearing aids) for my study, and I am struggling to find participants. My research project focuses on speech perception in older adults with age-related hearing loss. The goal is to identify which acoustic cues contribute to their speech understanding and to improve hearing aids as age-related hearing loss is known as one of the risk factors of social isolation and dementia. If anyone is interested in participating in this study, I would greatly appreciate it if you could kindly contact me. Thank you so much. Below are the brief details (please see the attached advert for more information): Who can take part? 1) British English native speakers 2) 60 years old or older 3) People who have age related hearing loss.
