I really hope there is someone here in the forum that uses a Google pixel 10 cell phone and also phonak Infinio I90 Sphere hearing aids. I’m about to purchase a Google Pixel 10 phone subject only now to my comfort level knowing that I can fully pair my phonak infinio sphere hearing aids with this phone.
I would really appreciate hearing from somebody who fits this above description of cell phone and hearing aid combination who can advise me about the compatibility of these two products working peacefully with one another!
I own the i90 spheres and a Pixel 8 phone. Phonak currently uses the old Bluetooth standard, which pairs with pretty much anything. I have my spheres paired with three Phonak TV streamers, a Linksys BT USB plug on an old ThinkPad laptop, a Phonak partner Mike, my older Lenovo Yoga tablet, a Hisense TV (directly, without the Phonak TV streamer), a Samsung A14 phone, and a Pixel 8 phone. You are unlikely to have any issues with a Pixel 10 phone.
AFAIK, Phonak have not yet released support for the new Auracast BT standard, but when they do, the Infio Spheres are supposed to be eligible for a firmware update. And the Pixel phones are supposed to be compatible with Auracast now, starting with the Pixel 7a and upwards. The Pixel phones were about the only Android phone that I could buy in Canada that is compatible with iPhone compatible hearing devices.
