Why would my Oticon Xceed disconnect from iPhone when attaching audio shoes?
Will be super annoying if I can’t be connected at the same time.
Bluetooth works fine if I disconnect audio shoes.

They do it for interference/ power consumption reason because both are 2.4 ghz devices…
Spoke to Oticon.
Apparently HA battery can’t cope with both.
Only option to have both would be to connect Roger X via the EduMic as then the Roger X is not using the hearing aid battery. Then the hearing aid battery can power the Bluetooth.
Oticon Xceed connect to Phonak audio shoe draining the Oticon battery? Is this what the photo show?
It’s an Oticon Audio Shoe to connect a Roger X.
Roger X on any hearing aid draws it’s power from the HA battery.
Really fabulous Zebra. All the best.
Found out of you’re using the EduMic, you can’t connect to your phone as well.
Either way, if I want to use the Phonak Roger with my Xceed’s, I can’t use Bluetooth and be connected to my iPhone.
Disappointing.
Oticon accessories are some of the worst. Two different microphones with different connections, but no desktop microphone, no Auracast accessory, no PC adapter like Widex. And a TV adapter with an outdated design. And only one Intent for the whole of 2024. Shame.
Well when you put it like that! I think your right, 2025 is most likely for Demant to get their act together!
I hope they hear us!
I’ve got a solution Altho not the best!
Wear one audio shoe and Roger and then the Aid without the audio shoe and Roger will still pick up Bluetooth on my iPhone!
Think this solution will work Altho everyone knows, two ears are better then one.
