Oticon TV adaptor

I just installed the Oticon TV Adapter. It does allow me to understand the TV better. Worth the $325 but no miracle. There are two modes: Streaming and Environment. They do not seem very much different.
What should the difference be?

That all depends on your hearing needs. I normally lower the environment volume so I can hear more of the streaming sound. The way my TV is set up the streaming sound is conversations are louder than the background noise, and the environment normally has a lot more of the background noise in it that can for me drown out the conversations.

Streaming is the sound sent via Bluetooth to your aids from the TV and environment is sound picked up by your hearing aids mics such as someone talking to you while watching TV. In general you’ll hear the streaming from the TV (or phone, computer, remote mic wearer) more clearly by completely muting your hearing aid mics.
