Hi, I have a Oticon real 1 and when my phone rings I don’t hear the sound in the hearing aid. I installed the companion app on 2 phones but nothing to do, are there perhaps some special settings to do on the android phone or genie2?
Thanks.

Have you gone through the settings on your phone to ensure that the ringtone goes to your aids. It isn’t obvious on some of the android phones. I have the Samsung Galaxy S23 and I had to dig to find it. Start by checking notifications, then sounds. I even get spoken notification of who is calling.
I found the combination to hear the ringtone on the hearing aids only that the volume is low and I think that in noisy environments I do not hear it. I tried to invert from mp3 to wave with 200% more volume but it always remains low. I have a samsung s24 ultra
You will have to see your audiologist to make that adjustment.
Already asked, but it seems there is no way to increase the ring volume.
Once you have it ringing, at least with iPhones, the volume of the call is adjusted not with the hearing aids but rather with the volume buttons on the phone. I find that if I touch the hearing aid to raise the volume, it disconnects the call. not sure why they decided on that little function, but at least you can answer by touching the hearing aid. Heaven forbid you brush your hand across the aid absentmindedly.
You have to have your audiologist don’t in the Gene2 software
