Hi Rob, I have the same HA and my Right HA died on me 2 days ago. Can you please tell me how exactly you were able to get the battery back up with a 9 Volt battery Please.

Thank You

Well, this battery is not a replacement for the Z22. It is to large. The battery that will fit Oticon OPN’s which is smaller is a M7840S1/ICR7840/LIR7840 3.7V 15mAh hearing aid li-ion battery single cell. This cell has lower capacity then Z22 at 17.5mAh, but it fits and works fine. I have used them and the only drawback is the run time is in the 12-14 hour time frame. This necessitates recharging during long days. And, if you haven’t had the firmware 8 update and the battery discharges completely, it will not charge.
